Lodgepole Campground has a nice hiking trail that connects to the Colorado Trail. The pit latrines were clean and well maintained. The parking spot for site 14 isn’t especially level for trailers or RVs. But the picnic table and fire ring were more private than many other sites.

The Road leading to the camp round entrance is extremely rough for vehicles pulling a fifth wheel. The campground is nice, very quiet in the camp post are super friendly and helpful. Bathrooms are exceptionally clean!

Lodgepole is a family favorite and we come back year after year. We choose a more secluded spot, have easy access to restrooms and water, and easy hikes. The sites are well shaded for a lot of time outside together. Hosts having firewood available is also a plus!
