Round Mountain offers spacious RV sites, clean facilities, and a highly praised camp host, Keith, who ensures a well-maintained environment. Many visitors appreciate the beautiful, tree-surrounded location and the privacy of the campsites, with easy access to nearby trails and lakes. Awesome campground. We spent a Sunday night there so only four spots were filled. Beautiful spot, no bugs, perfect weather, gorgeous aspen and Ponderosa Pine forest, nice fairly level spots, great cleanup by the CG hosts. The only problem was a super full bear proof trash can that literally nothing else would fit in so we had to take our trash home with us, but everything else was really great.

Great spot! We loved it:
-sites were large and most were at least partially shaded
-camp host was very welcoming and nice
-close to eleven mile and tarryall for SUP and Florissant Fossil Beds
-clean restrooms

It is close to an off road course and only a mile from 24 so you get some noise from that- but that’s what happens when you camp in a convenient location. There was also a garbage bin (I didn’t think there was one from the description)- it was full by Monday afternoon from a long holiday, but it was nice to have throughout the weekend to dispose of trash.
