When we arrived around 6-7pm, our campground was taken by a two seniors. They said host gave the campground to them. But we made the reservation. They didn’t want to move and host was not there. Since it’s dark, we have to share the campsite to that two persons.

Camp host drove around the loop in a noisy truck.
Campers from the open space were using the dumpster and restroom leaving a mess. The Camp host did nothing to prevent this.
Guest of Round Mountain pay for these amenities and outside people were allowed to use the facilities for free. Restroom used to be kept clean, it wasn't cleaned one time while we were there. Very dissatisfied, The camp host site was a mess, their camper looked like it had a tarp for a roof.
Just not the quality type of campground we prefer. Don't get me wrong, the campsite has been amazing over the years but a change in camp host, for the worse, has lowered the standards.

From Florissant, Colorado, take US Route 24 west for 10.3 miles to the campground
sign. Turn right at sign onto the dirt road and go 0.2 miles to
campground on the right hand side.

- Exercise caution when traveling to this high elevation area.
- Guests must bring garbage bags as waste must be packed out.

- RV hookups are not provided at this facility.
- ATVs and off-road vehicles are not allowed in the campground.
- Shooting is not allowed within the campground.

- Each site can accommodate two vehicles and up to 8 people.
