We have camped at this area at least twice a year, and it is one of our favorite places. The new camp hosts are great and looking forward to seeing them the next time we are there this year.

I went up to Spruce Grove about the same time as last year. this year, we did not get hit with a foot of snow the first night, which was nice. I met up with some folks I met last year and enjoyed talking with them. Turns out that great minds do think alike. It was nice and quiet and the weather was good. I am going back up un June,

From areas west of Lake George, Colorado, drive east on Highway 24 and turn left on CR 77 (Tarryall Road) just before
Lake George. Continue on CR 77 about 15 miles to Spruce Grove Campground, located on the right. The campground sign and entrance sit back off CR 77.
