The campground has beautiful hiking trails along the river and lively vistas. There were very few trees in the main part of the campground, so not a lot of privacy. The campground host was very accommodating and allowed me to change campsite.

The sites are lovely, especially the walk-in spots along the river, but the restrooms were pretty unclean and smelly.

Great camping! Love the river and seclusion here. Also fun place for kids to explore/climb on rocks. Could be some more shaded campsites for the center camps.

We were so lucky to discover this campground!! The driveway into the place is very hard to find. After passing it several times, we wrote down that it's between markers 29 and 28. Hope that helps others! The campground host was very helpful and the place was immaculate. Most of the sights don't have shade. The river and the rest of the scenery are gorgeous. Great nearby getaway for our family.

We were in Camp Site #7, across the creek from the main campground. A group moved into Site #8 that far exceeded the 8 person limit. They also pitched tents well beyond the campsite. They put TWO large 10-person tents down by the creek, blocking access to the creek for the rest of us.
They also pitched a tent above their campsite. The campsite was used for a sun shade shelter. The camp host talked to them, but no tents were moved. There apparently was no penalty or corrective action for taking over the camping area. This really ruined our two-night get away for two people following the rules.
