I felt everything was really great at this campground. The hosts were fantastic as always. As a general issue with National Park campgrounds the person next to us ran a generator for 6 PM to 9 PM. Kind of defeated the purpose of being outside in nature listening to birds that you couldnβt hear. But that has nothing to do with the campground itself, thatβs just a National Park issue.

I recently stayed at Baby Doe Campground at Turquoise Lake near Leadville, and it was a fantastic experience! We camped at Campsite 005, which offered a great combination of privacy and beautiful views. The facilities were impeccably clean and well-maintained, which made our stay very comfortable.
The camp hosts were always available and incredibly helpful, providing assistance and information whenever needed. Their friendliness and dedication really added to the overall positive atmosphere of the campground.
The proximity to Leadville was excellent. It was just a short drive away, making it easy to explore the charming town and its attractions.
I highly recommend Baby Doe Campground to anyone looking for a well-kept, conveniently located, and welcoming place to camp near Turquoise Lake. We will definitely be returning!

Where is the water. Shouldn't cost go down when facility is not fully functional?
