What Guests Are Saying
Lakeview Campground offers stunning views, well-maintained sites, and a private, quiet atmosphere, making it a favorite among visitors. Many appreciated the clean facilities and helpful camp host, Rick, who enhances the experience. While some sites may be smaller than advertised and noise from nearby roads and dispersed campers can be an issue, the overall beauty and accessibility to trails and nearby lakes make it a worthwhile destination.

We stayed in site F006, which was on the lower edge of the campground overlooking the lakes. Great views and very private as the table and fire pit are down several steps from the parking area. It also had a very good tent area. Very friendly and accommodating hosts and the site and entire campground were clean and well maintained.

Love the campground. Immaculate Bathrooms. Clean campsite. Love everything about the campground except this is the second year I have stayed without water. I hope there is plans for accessible water by summer 2024.

Clean and beautiful and low key campground above Twin Lakes! We loved it and will be back in the coming years. Got lucky with the weather and awesome hiking nearby in every direction. It’s a super spot in the Sawatch range and primo wilderness experience !

There was a “camp” of teenage boys with leaders, not disrespectful in anyway, but close to 30 campers in three sites next to mine, just kind of loud. And no fault of campground but someone was shooting a gun, round after round, for over an hour in contiguous open space. Camp host called LE but we got no help. Lastly, there wasn’t any direct walking access to the lake, which would have been nice.

Hello, where do I start. We were in ALL of B and a couple of spots in A. we booked all 5 spots in B. It was nonstop traffic going to the bathroom. I believe it was all from dispersed camping above. It got to a point of us telling people to slow down as they would just drive 10 to 15 miles per hour. we had little kids around. not safe. we all go fishing to the lake we come back, and my brother-in-law generator was stolen from spot #4. eight in front of bathroom. we filed a police report but that's it. so sad. why can't you put a door code on all bathrooms? they are doing it in the city with public restrooms and even golf courses. such a simple solutions, especially charging us $30 a night to share restrooms with freebies. How fair is that.
and no water again for the 4th year? we have been coming there a long time. If water is an issue with dispersed camping, put a code on that as well. Not fair at all. This year was a total turn off. so much traffic in and out of B when there are only 5 spots. BAD ALL AROUND

too much traffic for lot B. when you reserve all spots and have so much traffic coming in and using the restroom is not fair. we even had a generator stolen at lot B4.

Nice location, easy to get to, very clean, camphost (Rick) was helpful, friendly, efficient, kept campsites clean and there were no rowdy campers or uncontolled campfires .

This campground has the CLEANEST bathrooms I have EVER seen in a campground. The camp host does an amazing job keeping them spotless! The sites are nice, but some are sloped; so while the site I had reserved did have a 30' driveway, there was no way I would have been able to level my camper in it. Be sure to look at photos and select a level site if you have a trailer.
