What Guests Are Saying
Silver Dollar Campground offers a beautiful and well-maintained setting with spacious, shaded sites and easy access to hiking and the lake, making it a great choice for outdoor enthusiasts. Camp hosts are generally friendly and maintain clean facilities, enhancing the overall experience. However, some guests reported issues with site suitability for larger rigs and negative interactions with certain camp hosts, which slightly detracted from their stay.

We stayed at #13. Site was down from the road, but only minor leveling required for our 30' Class A. It was a tight fit for the width without hitting trees; we could only extend the awning 3 feet. Our friends at #14 were uphill and needed major leveling. Our site was clean and had a nice tent spot that we used for Happy Hour. Bathrooms were clean and had an inside light. Remember, no electricity or water and the dump station was closed.

We had a great trip to Silver Dollar. Trudy is a fantastic campground host and was very helpful.
The water was turned off because of maintenance but they did have cisterns set up so you could go get some water.
Great spot.

Camp host was amazing! She gave us firewood that others had left behind. Very kind and gracious about rules and how to follow them better. Beautiful camping, our site was very private and quiet. Cute little nature trail that lead right to the lake. Easy hiking and short walk. Lots and lots of mosquitoes!!!

Amazing campsite for just a night stay over. Proximity to the lake was close for a nice walk. The sites were spacious and facilities very clean.

Trudy, the host, was great. Lack of water or a dump station make the spot a little too primitive.
