Stayed at site 24 in Sage loop. Surrounded by gorgeous views. Close to the lake, quiet, friendly people, clean restrooms, and plenty of space.

Fine campground host, Bob. This campground has excellent space in the lower loop-- Sage.
The upper loops are full of awful sites--- difficult sites with steep grades and little in the way of site maintenance. Site maintenance was excellent in the lower loop and the pit toilets were spotless.
I was in site 21.

There was no drinking water at this campground which requires some planning. Hopefully in 2023 this will not be the case. Otherwise, the sites are clean and well spread out with some having stunning views of the lakes and mountains. Lots of hiking and kayaking opportunities. I am not sure in mid-summer whether the lakes are overrun by motor boats, but in the fall we did not see a single one. Great jumping off place before driving up to Independence Pass.
