Camp Hale is very enjoyable - small and quiet. The toilets are clean and well-kept, and so are the campsites.
Leadville area has a lot to see and do, but we prefer to sleep at a lower altitude.

Great space for our group. And the location was near 4WD trails which we used everyday.

Beautiful location with spectacular views! Deborah and Dakota (Camp supervisor/host and her pup) were awesome! Very friendly and informative. More funding support to be able to add some services (electric and water) would make this campground a very special destination.
