Gore Creek Campground offers a beautiful and peaceful setting, with spacious sites, clean bathrooms, and a friendly camp host. Although there is no water available, it is a really nice campground. Beautiful area. Sites are spaced nicely with space between. A beautiful creek runs through the area. Just be sure you bring water.

Visited Gore Creek twice this year, once in July and once in September. Both times at the same tent-only spot in the upper loop. Gore Creek is very accessible from I-70 but feels remote. The hiking is rich with wildflowers in late Summer and filled with yellow aspen in the Fall. The bathrooms are kept tidy and the distance between camps makes each site feel pretty private. Highly recommend!

A little gem! Small campground on a beautiful river. Basically dry camping but provided clean pit toilets and potable water. The camp host was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. We hiked from the campsite. Not Real easy to find per provided directions.
