Site 9. Beautiful pine trees. Very clean vault toilets, well-spaced sites. Creek makes lots of white noise to dampen noise from other campers and highway. However, it was difficult to find a level, smooth location for our large (10x17) family tent, so we ended up on a slight slope with some bumps under. Also the creek was down a very steep 15' embankment and hard to access. It was flowing fast and cold so our kids couldn't play in it. It seemed like only sites 10 and 13 might have creek visibility from their sites. Although site 9 was right next to the creek, we couldn't see it from our campsite due to the steep embankment. Not a great campground for kids, better for adults and maybe RVs instead of tents.

Tent site distant from parking area, requiring a number of climbs (fairly steep) to get our stuff to the campsite. No ice for purchase on site

Beautiful scenic private campsites next to a roaring creek. Clean and very well kept. Will definitely go back!

Beautiful campground! The river runs right next to the campground and the sound really drowns out noise from anyone around you. Lots of places to take walks and hikes nearby. Our pop up trailer fit just fine but larger RVs might find it tight. Many toilets and trash bins around so you don’t have to go far. Camp hosts were the best! Bathrooms super clean and they were constantly checking the trash. Very friendly couple.

What a treasure this campground is. We were skeptical given how close it was to I-70 but Gore Creek noise took care of that. Sites were very private and well cared for. We will be back!!!

Super clean and private sites. Beautiful beautiful location! So deep in nature and close to trailheads, bike paths and town all at the same time! Loved it!
