What Guests Are Saying
Gore Creek Campground is praised for its beautiful setting near the creek, providing a peaceful and private atmosphere with well-maintained facilities, including exceptionally clean bathrooms. Many guests appreciate the convenient access to Vail and nearby hiking and biking trails. However, some reviewers noted issues with noise from I-70 and the lack of water and campfires, alongside occasional challenges with campground management and site reservations. Overall, it remains a popular choice for campers seeking a serene experience close to outdoor activities.

I absolutely loved this campground. Its small, quiet, and clean. Awesome getaway for some peace just me and my dogs. It is right by the town of Vail so easy to get any forgotten items. There is a long train right next to the campground too which was great for my dogs.
Spaces are definitely decent sized and you don't feel like you are right on top of anyone else. Facilities are well kept and management was great!
This will be a repeat for me.

Beautiful, but busy, spot in nature but with immediate access to Vail.

Lovely setting near East Vail. Difficult parking trailer due to uneven surface. No electricity or water so bring your own. We camp here every year and love it.
