A great location with great views of the surrounding mountains. Paved road to the camping area, very clean pit toilets, picnic tables and burn pits. Campsites are somewhat level

Beautiful sunsets. We took the hike up to Zapata Lake this trip, and while it was certainly challenging it was also entirely worth it.

There are no tents pads and the ground is really rocky. It’s fine but can damage your tent if you don’t have an extra layer of protection. Not a huge deal but most sites are slanted.

Love this campground!! it was quiet and you could talk to people or be on your own. Only thing that would make it better is if there was water in the bathrooms to be able to wash up.
