Excellent spot to camp — clean, quiet and convenient. Park was exceptional— highly recommend visiting all of the lookout spots and hiking the rim trail. Save some energy to stay up to see the magnificent stars. Please use red headlamps at night and don’t overly light your campsite. We had a group next to us who left their ultra bright camp light strings on most of the night and ruined the stargazing for all of the campsites around them.

We enjoyed the evening talk about water in the canyon, and access to the trails for running was great.

Loved the campground, terrific views, even the pit toilets smelled pretty good. Our only complaint was that both nights we camped there were other campsites that were playing loud music and talking way past quiet hours, which interfered with our ability to sleep as well as our ability to sit and listen to the sounds of nature and wildlife. We wished the rangers or camp hosts better enforced the quiet hours.

Clean campgrounds, always toilet paper and hand sanitizer in vault toilets. Hosts were active but not intrusive.
Only downside: sites were kind of close together but on the plus side, loop A had many shrubs separating sites.
Note: water was available but has to be shipped up to the campground so everyone must conserve use. No showers, no running water for bathrooms.
The national park is a nice day trip, probably no more than 1 day. Would suggest planning dates that target <70°F in full sunlight. It heats up quickly.

So beautiful! Was the perfect weekend to go (June 2-4), not too hot or cold. Many hiking trails. The kids did the Jr. Ranger program and had fun.
The campsite was a bit small, and close to the neighbors. We had RV site B005. It said it was a pull through, but really was just pulled up like on the side of the road. The trailer was facing our site, with traffic passing through directly on the other side. Very little privacy.
No water, so fill up before you go. The toilets are the never ending pit kind, so you'll be grateful to have an RV toilet, especially if you have kids.
There was a fire pit and table at each site.
