Matterhorn Campground offers a beautiful setting with friendly and accommodating hosts, making it a popular choice for campers. The facilities, including clean showers and restrooms, received high praise, contributing to an enjoyable stay. Great stop convenient to Telluride. Clean, well maintained campground with mostly tent campers to basecamp for hiking the many trails.

Did not get the site we had reserved, because the prior camper had not vacated. Host had not appropriately discharged them. Were offered a far inferior site and decided to just leave.

Such a beautiful campground, lovely host, and we had nothing but the friendliest neighbors and other people staying at the campground. Everything was clean and the flush toilets are a real treat!!!

The camp host was exceptionally helpful and the location is beautiful. There are full hookups that can be reserved or first-come. Itβs a short drive to Mountain Village where you can park for free and then ride the free gondola into Telluride. Telluride farmers market is on Friday.

Beautiful campground, the sites are nicely spaced apart, great facilities including store, showers, and gas station. The drive into the park to the campground is stunning. The road rises really high as you navigate beautiful switch backs. We will definitely be back.
