Gorgeous campground - beautiful large sites absolutely breathtaking. We had an issue with the camp host, but I suspect it was an off weekend for her as her husband was just out of the hospital, we all need Grace. Well maintained campground we will definately go back!

This spot is so beautiful and easy to get too. It is one of our favorites. The access to both Lake Granby and Monarch Lake makes it a water play haven! Lots of hikes, wildlife, and if needed easy quick trip to town for supplies! Be prepared when you go though, they have bear boxes for coolers and cooking items so be sure to use them, don't want those sweet creatures getting in trouble for wanting your yummy food. Give the frequent moose plenty of room and only photograph from afar. Take your fishing gear, because you have river and lake opportunities for some good catches. Enjoy and leave it the way you found it.

One of the best camping spots West of the Front Range! Overlooks the lake, Monarch Mtn and Roaring Fork Falls. Truly breathtaking!!! Really close to Grand Lake too!

Gary (?) was a wonderful, informative host. He let us know about potential animals in the area and kept the sites clean and organised. The bathrooms were clean and had air fresheners which were a nice touch. Amazing location and we lucked out with great weather. Can’t wait to come back!

The water was out and discounts were being offered at the pay box because of it but none for those who booked in advance. Also, no notice of the water outage was given so we packed in with no water and had to go purchase it.

This campsite is beautiful and has a lot to offer. Solo camping can be scary but I felt at ease in this space. Granted I’m a seasoned camper with all the necessary equipment to stay safe. I spent my days at Monarch Lake breaking in a new kayak. I will be coming back in the future.
