Nice quiet spot with just. Nice tall trees, with view of the mountains. No Tmobile service, but 3G nearby

Site 4 was a very nice and shady. It was busy being at the entrance to all the other locations in Arapaho Bay and near the entrance to the ranch, as well as Monarch lake, but had quick access to the bathrooms and potable water. A great place for kids/families as was apparent there were a ton of kids around in the loop. Probably less so if you're looking for "quiet" and/or direct access to the water, but you can backtrack to the bridge to the south which is super close to gain access to the water with a light watercraft, down to the boat ramp at Roaring Fork if you need to set up with your vehicle, or quick access is about half a mile away at the west side of Moraine.
Host was nice and helpful with info. There were plenty of bugs of course, and we had Moose wander through the campsite, so keep that in mind. Overall would recommend!

We stayed one night, the grounds were nice and clean and that includes the outhouses. The views along the trail by the lake were spectacular. The ‘caretaker’ who stopped by to check on us and charge for the extra vehicle was very professional and courteous. Our neighbors were friendly and best of all, finding the campground was easy.
They had a nice sized bear box, fire pit/ring and picnic area with table and space adequate for about 8 even 10 people. Water was available from a spigot.
