After driving 8 miles down a gravel road alongside beautiful Lake Granby, we thought we would be in this beautiful campground and we were pretty excited. Unfortunately this campground is a huge disappointment. Sites are very close, no view of any value and we couldn't even open our awning due to one small tree. Wasn't a campground that made you want to hang out and relax. We left after one night. The bathrooms were very clean but it is definitely just an overflow campsite and not a destination. Definitely not worth the effort to get to.

Campground host was friendly but not intrusive. He did a wonderful job keeping the outhouses clean. Site was spacious and away from others. Really enjoyed our stay.

My tent site was next to Lake Granby (like half of the tent and RV sites). So its relaxing to watch sky and color change from dawn to dusk. Can paddleboard and kayak too. Near Monarch Lake with a beautiful wildflower perimeter hike. Or hike deep into the Indian Peaks if you are more ambitious.

The picture of our site was not accurate at all. There was no driveway at our site, it was a "walk to" site and that is not what we wanted. It would be so helpful to have an accurate description of each site so you know what you are getting when you book. We have a tent but we also have a small little trailer we pull with all of our equipment. We need a driveway to have it close to us. Luckily the camp host was able to accommodate us for 2 nights but we had to leave a day early. Camp host was kind and super helpful- we are grateful for that.

This was our second trip to this campground in the past two years. We loved it even more this year. The host, Paula, and her pup, Gracie, were great! Moose went right through our campsite, several deer came around, and a bear went by on the game trail. Quiet nights in the big rock loop. No Google Fi cell service here (in case that means anything to anyone else). The only downside for us here is that people drive way too fast on the dirt roads going by where kids are playing. One jeep skidded about 20 feet before he could stop and keep his vehicle from hitting my son and I on our bikes. Slow down people! The wildlife, cyclists and pedestrians are on the dirt roads.

Great campsite: just remote enough, but still easy to get to. It was quiet, near the lake, and we'll-maintained.

Gorgeous location, and the camp host was very helpful and attentive. He kept everything looking nice throughout the campground and was readily available.
