The space is very small, we fit 2 4-person tents and 2 2-person tents, there is extra parking about a mile away that is free so if you have more than 2 cars you can park there! Spot 28 was right across from the camp ranger, so watch out for that

No water in the campground.
Posted sign, partial refund will be given.
A month later, no refund, I contacted Recreation.gov who referred me to the management company/third party.
I called and was told a refund would be processed at 20%.
The refund came the next day (good) for less than 20% (bad...!).
I called again, left a message.
I just got a call back, very nice person, said they are WAY behind on refunds.
Lack of staffing and the number of refunds should be BIG warning signs to Recreation.gov re this vendor.
Otherwise...beautiful site, nice hosts, quiet spot.

Very cool spot on Lake Granby. Water available, clean drop toilet, bear boxes at each site. Roaring fork campground has very minimal shade, so the only thing that would have made this place perfect would be some more shady spots. Great place to kayak and SUP.

Spot was nice and shaded! Bathrooms were clean and close to the site. The only negative is that the sites are really close to one another! Site 5 is private on one side due to trees and bushes, however the other side butts up to the next site over. Would definitely return!

The camp host kept the campground very clean. He was diligent in cleaning the bathrooms three times a day. He also was seen weed wacking too. Very friendly and welcoming. The only complaint was that our bench on our picnic table was not attached to the base. We had to use a clamp to keep it down. But i think that is a maintenance problem not the camp host duties

Really cool campground. Close to the lake and some good hiking and fishing. Sites were decently spaced but the road is tight. Really close to Monarch Lake which is awesome. Would definitely visit again.

The host was friendly, available, and kept the restrooms and grounds very clean. The campground was full but everyone respected each other's space and noise levels weren't a problem. We saw a moose, a family of foxes, and a small bear. All had great fun hiking and on the water!
