Website let me pick a spot and pay. Even kept emailing me reminding me about it. When we showed up late at night. Only to find they closed camp ground for season.

We had a really nice campground, not right on the lake. It was a more wooded which provided some privacy.
It was relatively quiet at night and we could hear the sound of a babbling brook near by.
The bear box was nice and made us feel a little safer.
The toilets were super clean and convenient.
We stayed 4 nights in a tent and had a great time.
Thank you!

Great spot. A little bit of seclusion, and pretty bad cell coverage compared to the rest of the campground w/Verizon, but great view from & access to lake. Wished I’d brought my dog. Parking spot was easy. Actual tent site had a little bit of shade and very flat/comfortable sleep.

We stayed in the Big Loop at site 019. The photo on rec.gov for the site is not the 019 site (just fyi). Beautiful area, nice, clean, well kept sites. The bathrooms were beautifully maintained. The host is definitely attentive and very clean. Nice and quiet. There are food lockers, a firepit, and a picnic table at each site. Water onsite. If you forget or run out of firewood the host has some ($9 a bundle!). There is great fishing, paddle boarding, kayaking, boating, hiking, etc. in this area with several lakes around you. We have T-Mobile, no service at the site itself but up the road a bit there is.

Very clean campground and really beautiful! I would definitely recommend mesquito repellent of all shapes and sizes because omg there was a lot. Strawberry lake trail was a nice short there and back with a beautiful view at the end!
