What Guests Are Saying
Camp Dick is praised for its cleanliness, friendly hosts, and beautiful, well-spaced campsites. Visitors enjoyed the excellent hiking and fishing opportunities, with sightings of wildlife like moose enhancing the experience. However, some noted issues with rough access roads, noise from ATVs, and inconsistent water availability, which could detract from the overall enjoyment.

I stayed at site #33 in early August 2022. I had my car camping setup with me and my mountain bike on the roof. There are two picnic tables and leveled gravel space for 2-3 smaller tents in addition to the one parking spot on the site, which could fit up to two cars. Spot #33 is right across the road from the restrooms, but enough distance away that smell is not an issue.
Campsite neighbors were courteous and turned off generators in the evening. The stay was quiet, and the nearby link up to the trail system down made for a fantastic evening of trail riding and camp cooking.
Camp hosts were patrolling the area on golf carts, and making conversation with guests.
Boulder County Sheriff came through once as well. I am not sure if that was an incident or nightly patrol.
Hosts restocked the bathrooms once during my 1 night stay.
Overall, my expectations were exceeded. I would worry about lack of shade in other spots but my site had plenty of tree cover.
I will be staying at Camp Dick again many times. Thanks for a pleasant experience.

The toxic smell in the bathroom made me sick. Poison for the flies is not tolerable for my respiratory system. The amazing handicap trail needs to have the bushes trimmed.
