Gorgeous area for hiking and MOOSE sightings! Nice campsite; clean and well-maintained. Vault toilets were clean with minimal smell. Friendly people everywhere!

Great location with east access to several moderate hikes. Lots of ATV traffic, but not overwhelming. Campground host Don most excellent and friendly.

From Denver, travel north on Interstate 25 north, to U.S. Highway 36 and continue west through Boulder, to Lyons.
From Lyons, take Highway 7 for 12 mi to Highway 72, then continue south for four miles. Watch for signs for Peaceful Valley and Camp Dick Campgrounds. Turn west onto Middle Saint Vrain Road (County Road 92 & National Forest System Road 114) and proceed approximately one mile to Camp Dick.
Highway access
Camp Dick is accessible via Interstate 25 to U.S. Highway 36, which continues to Highway 7. Highway 7 provides access to Highway 72, leading to County Road 92.
