What Guests Are Saying
Camp Dick is praised for its cleanliness, friendly hosts, and beautiful, well-spaced campsites. Visitors enjoyed the excellent hiking and fishing opportunities, with sightings of wildlife like moose enhancing the experience. However, some noted issues with rough access roads, noise from ATVs, and inconsistent water availability, which could detract from the overall enjoyment.

Wonderful week at Camp Dick. The Camp hosts were awesome. To echo a previous reviewer, these were the neatest and cleanest National Forest facilities we have ever camped in. Hiking trails from the campground and trout in the St. Vrain right in the Camp. Yes, there are ATV’s coming through, especially on the weekend, but they really didn’t bother us at all. Will definitely be back!

We stayed in 012 spot next to the bathroom and trash. We could only smell when we walked by it. :) Also, there was a private path from our campsite to the creek, which we loved! Campsite 012 actually has two tables and two tent spots, FYI.

Hiking in the area is superb. Saw moose on one hard to reach trail. Many options are available. Though bring a good map.
