What Guests Are Saying

Camp Dick is praised for its cleanliness, friendly hosts, and beautiful, well-spaced campsites. Visitors enjoyed the excellent hiking and fishing opportunities, with sightings of wildlife like moose enhancing the experience. However, some noted issues with rough access roads, noise from ATVs, and inconsistent water availability, which could detract from the overall enjoyment.

It is always beautiful in that location. Early season was very quiet. Only about a dozen campers

The outhouse bathrooms were very clean and they smelled fresh. Thank you to the camp ground host I think her name was Julie.
Wild life (Moose) walked through our camp ground spot. It was exciting.

My family and I were on three campsites last weekend. We were very impressed with the upkeep and maintenance of Camp DIck Campground. The caretaker was congenial and affable and it was easy to see she took her job seriously and cared about the experience of the campers.
As we all know, outhouses are not a favorite environment, but all of us were impressed with a) the cleanliness, b) toilet paper was in abundant supply, and c) the smell was largely abated by the constant maintenance of the pit.
The caretaker certainly deserves recognition.
