Campsite was clean and accessible. The bathrooms were the cleanest I’ve seen at a campsite. The host was very friendly and helpful! We were able to just walk down to the lake and fish, an excellent spot for families.

Excellent campsites #38 and #41. Perfect for fishing and paddle boarding. The bathrooms are the cleanest we have ever seen in a campsite. Totally recommended!

Each morning was so beautiful! We were able to get out on the water with our inflatable kayaks. Unfortunately we never got to try out the hiking trails because it rained each afternoon. Beautiful location!

From Fort Collins, take Highway 287 north for approximately 24 miles to Livermore. Turn west on County Road 74 and continue about 23 miles to Dowdy Lake Road. Turn right, then another right onto Dowdy Drive and continue to the campground.
Dowdy Lake is accessed via Highway 287, which is approximately 24 miles from Fort Collins. From Highway 287, the route continues on County Road 74 for about 23 miles before reaching Dowdy Lake Road.
