Very friendly hosts, clean and nicely scented outhouses. Beautiful mountain scenery, lake for no motor water craft, great hiking trails and some wildlife. Beautiful campground. Verizon LTE available. Wish there was an RV fresh water fill and dump available there or nearby; there is none. You need to arrive with fresh water tank full and gray and black tanks empty.

Only an hour from home, this is such a great place to getaway from it all. The lake is a beautiful place to paddle or catch the sunset. Love Dowdy Lake.

Campsite was great, bathrooms nice & clean, I like how you provide a car pass for the day you check out so we could use the lake after check out.
