The campsite had breathtaking views of the lake and sunset. There is a nice trail around the lake for walking. Our dogs enjoyed it! Plenty of fish too if you like fishing.
Market is a five minute convenient drive for couple items you might have forgot to pack…
This was our second time at Dowdy Lake and both campsites were right on the lake. Very pretty!

I only stayed at Dowdy Lake for one night and had a really great site near the water. It was amazing. The water had green algae in it but always a beautiful view.

Our family loves camping at Dowdy Lake each year! We even bring other family and friends to share in this beautiful gem! Only one bummer is that the lake is awful for fishing but other than that, it is great to bring your paddleboards and kayaks to enjoy as well as walk the trail that goes around the whole lake and climb all over the rock formations/boulders. The camp hosts are always great as well! It is a must for our family every year.
