What Guests Are Saying
Green Ridge campground offers stunning views and a tranquil atmosphere, with clean facilities, helpful camp hosts, and great access to Shadow Mountain Lake and nearby trails. While some sites are close together, leading to a lack of privacy, and issues with tree trimming and parking have been noted, the overall experience remains positive. Campers appreciate the well-maintained bathrooms, though some flush toilets were out of service during certain stays, and many guests express a desire to return for the beautiful surroundings and recreational opportunities.

This was a beautiful and quiet location, away from the highway. The bathrooms and sites were clean. The campground was easy to navigate too. I liked that it was within walking distance to a few trailheads or viewpoints.

Great views, nice campsite, friendly host. Everything about this place is fantastic. The lake is gorgeous and there are so many cool birds here. This was our second time coming here and it was just as great as the first time. So peaceful.

Very quiet campground with great views and on the water! We were surprised that so few people were camping there in late August. Possibly because the burn from 2020 is nearby, but we didn't see any of it from camp, just on our way into the park.
Lots of great trails accessible directly from the campground, but be aware that it is definitely cougar and bear country, we saw bear scat on our trail run on the East shore of the river going south from camp.

close campsites, right next to each other, good bathrooms. Minimal shade in some sites, good trails for hiking, bring a paddle board or other water craft

The camp hosts were amazing. The campground bathrooms were cleaned multiple times during the day- the bathrooms were spotless. I’ve never been to a campground where the bathrooms smelled great!
The hosts were very friendly and they kept the grounds well maintained. The campsight itself was absolutely beautiful!!
