Decent campground, but sites too close together and some right on top of each other. Quite a bit of noise too - including the boat launch ramp that is only dozens of yards away from some sites. The online reservation price is also high.

We were sorry there were no good sites for pool fishing available. It looked to me like campground reservations are not needed during the week. The campground host was very helpful in letting us move from a reserved site to a first come first serve site which was a better site than the reservable one

We enjoyed our weekend stay. The camp host, Gary, provides exceptional service to his guests. He personally stops and talks with each camper, offers advice and answers questions. It is obvious he likes his role very much!
The campsites are clean as are the restrooms, and the proximity to Shadow Mountain reservoir is perfect!

we enjoyed our stay, no complaints. We saw lots of Osprey and enjoyed hiking and especially kayaking when we saw a moose between a coupe of the islands.

Great location on Shadow Mtn Res. Many sites are close together with little separating foliage, but some are great. Can dump but no water at dump station.

Great views of Rocky Mountain National Park. Our site #67 was very narrow and with big boulders everywhere along the road made it difficult to back in. It was very quiet while we were there. The host’s were very helpful and generous.

Getting There
From the intersection of U.S. Highways 40 and 34 in Granby, travel north for 12 mi on Highway 34 to County Road 66 and go east one mile. Look for the Green Ridge Complex sign.
Highway access
Green Ridge is accessible via U.S. Highway 34, which connects to U.S. Highway 40 in Granby, approximately 12 miles to the south.
Policies & Rules
General
- No RV water connections are available.
- This is bear country! For bear and human safety, keep a clean campsite and do not place food or other attractants in your tent. For more information about visiting bear country, contact Colorado Parks and Wildlife at http://wildlife.state.co.us
- Utility hookups are not available
- Boats are subject to inspection to prevent the spread of zebra and quagga mussels
- A additional fee will be charged for admission to the Arapaho National Recreation Area; fees are $5 a day, $10 for three days, $15 a week or $30 per year, and can be purchased from the Forest Service office or local vendors
- You must stay in the campsite you reserved. Site-swapping is not allowed.

- Don't Move Firewood: Prevent the spread of tree-killing organisms by obtaining firewood at or near your destination and burning it on-site. For more information visit dontmovefirewood.org.
- All campsites must be occupied within 26 hours of the beginning of the reservation. If not present the site will be rented by first come first serve basis.
- EXTRA VEHICLE FEES: One vehicle is included in your reservation. Any additional vehicles will be charged $8.00 per vehicle per night and will be collected by the camphost. There is not a way to pay for extra vehicles when you make your reservation. One vehicle consists of one camper being towed by vehicle, or any other vehicle towed behind camper. One van or one truck with camper attached counts as one vehicle.
- Fire Restrictions: Fire restrictions may be imposed at any time due to hot, dry weather conditions, at which time campfires and charcoal fires may not be allowed.
- Tents must fit on the pads provided.
- RVs, trailers or other vehicles must fit on the parking spur. Driving or parking off road is not permitted. The parking length ranges from 25' - 35'.
- Pets must be on a hand-held leash.
- Modifications for this campground must be made through Recreation.gov PRIOR to your reservation start date. Customers and contact center agents cannot modify reservations on or after the check-in date.
