What Guests Are Saying
Green Ridge campground offers stunning views and a tranquil atmosphere, with clean facilities, helpful camp hosts, and great access to Shadow Mountain Lake and nearby trails. While some sites are close together, leading to a lack of privacy, and issues with tree trimming and parking have been noted, the overall experience remains positive. Campers appreciate the well-maintained bathrooms, though some flush toilets were out of service during certain stays, and many guests express a desire to return for the beautiful surroundings and recreational opportunities.

Everything was awesome.
Clean campsite and clean flush toilets. Never met the host, sign always said closed, but never needed them. Will definitely book again.

not bad! But site 20 is shared with 3 other sites. Shared parking area and on top of each other.

Awesome campground host who accommodated my request to swap with an open site. Amazingly clean sites. Water quality and favor was above average for a campground. Sites are small and tightly packed. There isn't much natural shade around the table and tent pad, so a tarp or canopy are a must on clear summer days.

for over 35 years we've enjoyed camping at Greenridge on Shadow Mtn Lake-----------however----
this year was a downer----due to the lack of plumbed restrooms which were out of order for the 2 weeks we were
camping. the host in loop A was as helpful as he could be----------but his upper management was not timely receptive to the issue of no plumbed restrooms-----------I don't know if the issued has yet been resolved---------------

I love the B loop here. Some great views, easy access to Shadow mtn res. If you feel like going into Grand Lake that is close by. I find campers here are pretty respectful of each other. Not much noise.

Getting to space 24 without pruning trees was nearly impossible with a 38 ft 5th wheel due to a tight "cul de sac". But there was a 1st come first serve FF site 51 that was excellent. Only suggestion was the continuous slamming of the bathroom door all night, which could likely be solved with a soft close piston. Otherwise, great.

Site number 22 is challenging to find, as it is one of four tent sites in a corner of the camping area. We were somewhat surprised by the lack of privacy, as homes nearby could see everything in our camp. The site is very close to the other four adjacent sites. Parking was good. We easily scrounged firewood from deadfall. The area itself is magnificent.

Flush restrooms were closed, had to use porta-potty. Dump station was finally open, after years, but no water to clean out holding tanks.

Love how close the lake and river is to the campground. Just pack the girls in the wagon and go fishing!
