What Guests Are Saying
Green Ridge campground offers stunning views and a tranquil atmosphere, with clean facilities, helpful camp hosts, and great access to Shadow Mountain Lake and nearby trails. While some sites are close together, leading to a lack of privacy, and issues with tree trimming and parking have been noted, the overall experience remains positive. Campers appreciate the well-maintained bathrooms, though some flush toilets were out of service during certain stays, and many guests express a desire to return for the beautiful surroundings and recreational opportunities.

The camp hosts were excellent. During the pandemic, they cleaned the restrooms 3 times per day, they raked the campsites between guests, and were friendly and helpful.

Camp sites were clean and ready for us at check in. Outhouses were very clean and smelled good for an outhouse. Camp hosts were great!

Most sites were set up in such a way that they had semi privacy. I was on A-loop which appeared to have a quicker access to the lake. The camp hosts were extraordinarily nice and accommodating. There were both pit toilets and flush toilets. Both were well maintained.

I paid a double reservation fee due to your difficult website. Still not happy about it. I'm on a fixed income and every penny counts

Everything was great as usual, except the smell coming from the running water bathrooms. Almost like the septic was backed up.

Smaller campground. Far enough from US-34 to not hear road noise. Good location along Shadow Mountain Lake, but not the most interesting shoreline access. Bathroom facilities are kept up ok.
