What Guests Are Saying
Green Ridge campground offers stunning views and a tranquil atmosphere, with clean facilities, helpful camp hosts, and great access to Shadow Mountain Lake and nearby trails. While some sites are close together, leading to a lack of privacy, and issues with tree trimming and parking have been noted, the overall experience remains positive. Campers appreciate the well-maintained bathrooms, though some flush toilets were out of service during certain stays, and many guests express a desire to return for the beautiful surroundings and recreational opportunities.

The hosts, rich and Barb, were excellent. Everything was clean and well organized. They were very attentive to detail.

The campground was clean and well-kept, including the bathrooms. There is no place to check in. If you want to buy firewood, you have to find the host site. It's $7 a bundle, cash only.
There is no shade at all, so very hot. This is because beetles destroyed many of the trees. They planted new ones, but they are still too small to provide shade.
The sites are very close to one another. Some are better than others, but definitely no privacy.
It's next to a lake, but unless you have a boat, there's not much to do. There's very little shoreline that you could sit at or walk along.
It is next to some RMNP trails if you like hiking, and we got to see some osprey nests which was cool.
We ended up mainly using it as a place to sleep, and went into RMNP and Grand Lake during the days.

Great place where one can enjoy both the lake and the river. Plus, I have never been there and not seen moose.

Camp Site is very nice and bathrooms were very clean. Our family enjoyed a nice camping trip. It is worth mentioning that the sites are close to together.

My rating would be a 5 if the dump station was open.

Well maintained campground with clean bathrooms. Good shade and trees on loop B. Easy access to the lake and you can hike right into the national park. Some sites are a little close to the road for my liking, but overall a great spot.

No RV water or dump available.
Campground is nice and well kept except the dump and water facilities which were out of order (unsure of why this was no communicated as it appeared o have been out of service for some time).
We enjoyed a drive over to Adams Falls, a short hike to a beautiful view.

Nice clean campground with large sites. Very helpful and friendly campground host that keeps a close watch on the campground to ensure that reserved / paid sites are kept open for the renter. Vault toilets were the cleanest I've seen. Plenty to do in the town of Grand Lake with plenty of water activities focused on the lake. Good hiking accessible from the campground (cross the dam).
