What Guests Are Saying
Green Ridge campground offers stunning views and a tranquil atmosphere, with clean facilities, helpful camp hosts, and great access to Shadow Mountain Lake and nearby trails. While some sites are close together, leading to a lack of privacy, and issues with tree trimming and parking have been noted, the overall experience remains positive. Campers appreciate the well-maintained bathrooms, though some flush toilets were out of service during certain stays, and many guests express a desire to return for the beautiful surroundings and recreational opportunities.

The lake and campsite are beautiful. We walked down to the Colorado river (two minute walk from camp) and it was so beautiful. Be careful though, at camp there isn't really any tree coverage so make sure you have shade and if possible a fan. There isn't any electricity but a battery powered fan and shade will do wonders.

Our campsite was very tidy and included a great bear-proof locker to store food and other items. The campground is just a short walk to Shadow Mountain Lake. The area surrounding the campsite had plenty of firewood for the campers to use, though make sure you bring an ax or woodcutter! The trees are not cut up enough to fit into the fire pit. We were able to get wood a short drive away in Grand Lake. Would stay again!

Sites are a bit tight with limited trees and generators are loud. Stay here for access to the water. Views of mountains and water are nice and walkable from camp.

The sites are well groomed prior to arrival, and the staff are very friendly and helpful.
This is a great base camp for RMNP hiking.

This is an awesome campground! I love the proximity to the reservoir and to lake Granby! Perfect for floating, fishing and boating. We also loved that we could have a fire because of the raised fire pits. Make sure you bring some type of shade situation though!
