What Guests Are Saying
Green Ridge campground offers stunning views and a tranquil atmosphere, with clean facilities, helpful camp hosts, and great access to Shadow Mountain Lake and nearby trails. While some sites are close together, leading to a lack of privacy, and issues with tree trimming and parking have been noted, the overall experience remains positive. Campers appreciate the well-maintained bathrooms, though some flush toilets were out of service during certain stays, and many guests express a desire to return for the beautiful surroundings and recreational opportunities.

Well-kept, friendly campsite, minutes to RMNP. My son and I had a great couple of days.

Dump station is broken and there is no place to fill a trailer with fresh water. Campground host said water was available at the entrance but it was not.

This was a beautiful site, well maintained and clean. Saw lots of wildlife, even a moose one morning.
Big thank you to Barb and Rich, the Loop A on premise campground managers. Our car battery needed a jump and they graciously came within 10 minutes and got us on our way. They would not accept a tip! I don't know how long we would have has to wait for AAA or another service.
We will be back.

Campground hosts were really kind and helpful, flush toilets were cleaned and working properly, dumpsters easily accessible and emptied regularly, firewood delivered to us after paying hosts upon check in. Sites are small and somewhat close together but since we just have a campervan as our RV it was very easy for us. Nice easy access to Shadow Mountain Lake and boat ramp. Would def stay here again!

Everything was clean and the camp hosts were very helpful. Sites were quiet after hours. Sites were a little close but nicely wooded. Good family atmosphere.

I loved the place, the campground is very tight for vehicles to get past parked vehicles. Seems like the camp host didn't make sure they were parked totally off the road. The biggest problem was that there was a foul odor that came and went. It must have been from the outhouse, but we were a good distance away from it. Our family was in 3 sites, 33, 35, 36 and they all seemed to get that bad odor, but 36 was the worst!

Absolutely Wonderful!!! Our view from our campsite was perfect! I can't say enough about our stay here....We loved Grand Lake town and hiked several trails in Rocky Mount Nat Park. Would definitely return!
