It's a well maintained campground that is close to Denver metro area. I wish they would have had photos of the spots because when I arrived, my spot was right next to a playground(spot 30). It was NOT a peaceful weekend with random kids cutting through my site.

Kelly Dahl is such a great location only 30 minutes down Boulder Canyon to Boulder. Most sites have shade trees and all have great treed mountain scape views. Bathrooms are well kept and there is a water hydrant for use. Have to say that Mike and his wife, the camp hosts were one of the biggest positives for this camp site. They manage the facility extremely well and were super helpful in helping us fit out the rest of our stay with reservations with late cancellation sites when the online portal showed full when we were booking. They also dealt with a very difficult situation and removed a disruptive group when necessary for the enjoyment of other guests. Thanks for helping our stay to be a memorable one!

Excellent campground. Host were welcoming and attentive. Campground is very well-maintained and the vault toilets were spotless! I’ll definitely be making a return trip.

From Denver, go north on Interstate 25 to US Highway 36 west to Boulder. Take Colorado Highway 119 (Canyon Boulevard) west for 22 miles to Nederland. Continue south for 4 miles to the campground.

All campsites must be occupied within 26 hours of the beginning of the reservation. If not present the site will be rented by first come first serve basis. |

EXTRA VEHICLE FEES: One vehicle is included in your reservation. Any additional vehicles will be charged $8.00 per vehicle per night and will be collected by the camphost. There is not a way to pay for extra vehicles when you make your reservation. One vehicle consists of one camper being towed by vehicle, or any other vehicle towed behind camper. One van or one truck with camper attached counts as one vehicle. |
