Cleanest vault toilet, ever. Overall one of the cleanest places we’ve ever camped. Clear, but not intrusive presence from our host, too. I’d not hesitate to stay here again. Playground is a nice touch, there we a bunch of kids near us and they took great advantage of it.

The CLEANEST vault toilets i have ever encountered! Camp site was perfectly shady and I really enjoyed the wildlife. Close to town and easy to find. Had a great time

Campground was clean, easily accessible, and has a couple of trails right there. From there, its a short drive to trails east of the highway as well as Eldora and Nederland!

Close enough to Boulder but beautiful scenery. Views of peaks and campsites that are clean and well separated. Bathrooms were extremely clean and host was very friendly

We had a great time at the Kelly Dahl campground outside Nederland. We saw several bull moose and enjoyed the quiet environment at the campground. The campground is in a convenient location to access great hikes and visit restaurants we love, especially Crosscut Pizzeria & Taphouse in Nederland and Toss Wood Fired Pizza in Rollinsville. The vault restrooms were very clean, too!

Getting There
From Denver, go north on Interstate 25 to US Highway 36 west to Boulder. Take Colorado Highway 119 (Canyon Boulevard) west for 22 mi to Nederland. Continue south for 4 mi to the campground.
Policies & Rules
General
- RV water connections are not available. Utility hookups are not available.
- This is bear country! For bear and human safety, keep a clean campsite and do not place food or other attractants in your tent. For more information about visiting bear country, contact Colorado Parks and Wildlife at http://wildlife.state.co.us

- Don't Move Firewood: Prevent the spread of tree-killing organisms by obtaining firewood at or near your destination and burning it on-site. For more information visit dontmovefirewood.org.
- All campsites must be occupied within 26 hours of the beginning of the reservation. If not present the site will be rented by first come first serve basis.
- EXTRA VEHICLE FEES: One vehicle is included in your reservation. Any additional vehicles will be charged $8.00 per vehicle per night and will be collected by the camphost. There is not a way to pay for extra vehicles when you make your reservation. One vehicle consists of one camper being towed by vehicle, or any other vehicle towed behind camper. One van or one truck with camper attached counts as one vehicle.
- Fire Restrictions: Fire restrictions may be imposed at any time due to hot, dry weather conditions, at which time campfires and charcoal fires may not be allowed.
- RVs, trailers or other vehicles must fit on the parking spur. Driving or parking off road is not permitted.
- Pets must be on a hand-held leash at all times
- Modifications for this campground must be made through Recreation.gov PRIOR to your reservation start date. Customers and contact center agents cannot modify reservations on or after the check-in date.
