No AT&T cell service and a bit busy with closeness of Colorado Trail and hikers using the facilities. Other than that a great experience.

Nice campground on Colorado Trail. Very friendly hikers coming through. Good base for day drives to lakes and high mountain passes.

Be prepared to hear the sound of cars passing along Hwy 285 - it didn't bother me, but my partner is a fairly light sleeper and it was an unexpected challenge! Also, though they have a hand water pump, I recommend bringing your own from home since it's fairly tedious to fill up a jug.

The sites are not very level and are not suited for larger travel trailers. The host couple were great! A lot of dust and noise from construction vehicles working on the power lines.

Don’t let the proximity to the hwy keep you from staying here - the location is great! The campground is literally on the Colorado Trail so hiking is abundant. There are some great sections of the CT and other trails and recreation areas all within a short drive (Jefferson Lake, Lost Creek, etc). The camp hosts were super nice and did a great job keeping the campground clean and tidy. We stayed at site 13 with a tent. It wasn’t the flattest, but the slight incline wasn’t too bad. Bonus - we had a female moose walk right through camp out second day! We also so other wildlife (include two bull moose) on nearby hikes. Kenosha Pass is an excellent campground and in a great, central location for hiking.
