The campground was clean and had great access to the Colorado trail, but the traffic noise was terrible.

We enjoyed our stay at Kenosha. The campgrounds were kept very clean and the rest rooms were exceptionally clean and had a pleasant smell. Kudos to Spike and Lauri.

Nice spacious campsites within walking distance of the Colorado Trail. Less than two hours away from the east Denver Metro suburbs. Social distancing was easy to maintain with other campers. Campground hosts were friendly and helpful. The only downside (which probably wouldn't deter us from returning in the future) was the traffic noise off of US 285. If open in the winter, this would be a potentially strategic winter camping location adjacent to good snowshoeing on the Colorado Trail, which I may well be back for.

We had a wonderful time! Loved hiking the colorado trail and finding all the little stick shelters people have assembled. Relaxing at camp and seeing wildlife up close as they passed through was awesome. This is a great campground to spend a few days enjoying the outdoors. Bathrooms are clean, and the water pump is very helpful.

Great little campsite. If you camp here, choose a site toward the back of the campground. The sites closest to the highway have a lot of noise.

The campground was beautiful and quiet. However, our site was right next to the bathroom and the garbage; no fault of the campground, but we got some wafting odor. This would not deter me from camping there again; it was beautiful and right on the Colorado Trail. :)
