Pristine setting along the Colorado trail. It's a great site to use as a base of operations for the Colorado trail, the south park national heritage area and the upper Platte canyon. Very well maintained campsites and managed by a very attentive host. Improved concrete/steel fire rings so a much lower chance of wildfire ignition. easy access and egress even for big campers. Very clean toilet. The only drawback is that you can still hear the highway. and truck traffic over the pass can be loud at night.

This was our first time at Kenosha Pass. My husband and I had an awesome time. We really enjoyed the campground and being able to hike along the CO Trail, from both sides. The only issue we had was the sound of the traffic coming from the highway, but it wasn't too horrible. Our time spent hiking, great conversation around the campfire, and the amount of stars we saw helped "drown out" the noise of the cars. Thank you for a great time!

Great campground close to the Colorado Trail. Camp Host was very helpful, clean pit toilets. We tent camped and had a spacious site. You can hear highway noise, but that was to be expected due to the location. Water pump wasn't working while we were there in Mid-June.

The Colorado Trail so close to the campsite was fantastic. The facilities were all clean. We liked our campsite (#3) and had good distance between us and our neighbors.
However, the highway was so close to our campsite that we were woken up by semis passing in the night. Maybe campsites further in wouldn't have been so loud.
A bear did visit some other campsites and the dumpster in the night. Make sure to clean up your dining area - we did and the bear didn't come near our site. It was cool to go look at the bear tracks by the dumpster.
