Great campground close to the Colorado Trail. Camp Host was very helpful, clean pit toilets. We tent camped and had a spacious site. You can hear highway noise, but that was to be expected due to the location. Water pump wasn't working while we were there in Mid-June.

The Colorado Trail so close to the campsite was fantastic. The facilities were all clean. We liked our campsite (#3) and had good distance between us and our neighbors.
However, the highway was so close to our campsite that we were woken up by semis passing in the night. Maybe campsites further in wouldn't have been so loud.
A bear did visit some other campsites and the dumpster in the night. Make sure to clean up your dining area - we did and the bear didn't come near our site. It was cool to go look at the bear tracks by the dumpster.

Nice campground. Good shade at sites. Sites a little close together but not a problem. Close to 285 so a little traffic noise at times during the day. Great access to the Colorado Trail. And at higher elevations along the trail we even had cell service!
