What Guests Are Saying

Olive Ridge is a beautiful, well-maintained campground known for its clean facilities, friendly hosts, and spacious sites that offer plenty of privacy. Guests appreciate its proximity to hiking areas and the natural spring nearby. However, the lack of potable water and the occasional odor from the vault toilets are common drawbacks mentioned by visitors.

Olive Ridge is a very nice, beautiful dry campsite. I felt quite comfortable there. Just be aware of the food-motivated chipmunks and wasps while cooking and eating.

Camping here is not an escape from the city or being close to nature. The campground is very close to the highway so you can hear traffic at night. Because of this, we will likely never come back. Try to get the sites furthest from the road.

The campground itself is nice with lots of trees, some rock formations, and dedicated pads for tents. One of the bathrooms was clean and the other not so much. The hosts are friendly and helpful. There is a lot of activities to do further up the highway.

The front tire on my car was so low I asked the Campground Host (Richard) if he had an air pump. He did.
He took one look at my tire and said it needed to be removed pronto. He put air in the spare tire and replaced
the bad tire. I had been planning to call AAA but Richard was so helpful that wasn't necessary. He went far
beyond his host duties to help me. Sue

Nice campgrounds. People were courteous about noise at night, and campsites are spaces far enough apart. There are metal boxes to put your food at night to keep bears out. The only reason this review isn’t 5 stars is because there wasn’t any potable water available.

Beautiful camp site with lots of rocks for kids to climb on. The whole campground is quiet, shaded, and spread out. Couldn’t figure out the trail heads from the site, but was easy to drive to some great trails in the National park including Lily Lake, Lily Mountain, and Wild Basin.
