Very nice campground with lake access/beach. Only a few with hookups.

We love this campground! It's a beautiful setting on the lake with mountains all around. The trees are starting to come back but there is still no shade, and it can be very windy. DO NOT leave your camper/trailer awning out if you are not there.
We were pleased that the restrooms (although showers were not open because of Covid) were much cleaner this year than last. Definitely one of our favorites!

Great car-camping site! We had site 70 which was close to the water and had excellent views. Amenities (restroom, drinking water) were close by and clean. Fire pit, bear locker, picnic table, and tent pad with tie-downs were all part of the set up. Firewood available for sale. Very quiet and peaceful location about 10 minutes away from RMNP. Saw osprey fishing for its dinner just yards away from the campsite! Need an Arapaho National Rec Area (ANRA) pass for your car too.

The caretakers were nice, the spot was fairly level and the view of Granby Reservoir was terrific. I picked a campsite that was a little short. I measured 20 feet as from the rear bumper of the camper to the front of the camper, but I should have measured it to the front of the hitch. That four feet made fitting my car in a little tricky. So now I know that I should include the hitch when measuring.

Stayed at Site C123 in a tent. Tent pad was extremely rocky, bring a hammer for stakes! Bathrooms very clean, water and firewood were easy to get. The area is gorgeous, no trees so can get hot if sunny. Only 10 min from Grand Lake and 15 from Rocky Mountain National Park. Campsites pretty close together with no privacy

While the campground was its usual good condition there were too many people allowed in the campground for this time of Covid-19 and the restrooms were not a well stocked with hand cleaner or hot water as needed. The campground host for our C-Loop was not in evidence and there were several large groups camping around us.
Outside of the Covid-19 circumstance, the Stillwater campground was its usual excellent place to camp.
