No trees in our area to block the wind. Couldn’t set up camp til sun went down and wind died down.

The campground was very scenic and quite! Really nice place to camp. Very close to RMNP, Granby, and Winter Park. Unfortunately we did not have any cell coverage at the campground. The bathrooms were good, but the showers could use some updating. Would definitely stay here again if we could get cell coverage.

Great Place.. The campground and especially the bath houses could use some attention... Love the lakes...
Wish they would reconsider the 1 week stay policy.. Just not enough time. Seems you just get there and you have to leave...
But overall a great place...

We camped 2 nights in early Sep. 2019. Just a heads up the campsites are close together compared to other campgrounds. During our stay, there were afternoon thunderstorms that would come in pretty fast with really gusty wind and then move out just as fast. Even on a clear day be prepared for wind and it being pretty chilly at night that time of year. Due to the beetle kill there are not a lot of trees, only a handful, so I would bring a canopy or someway to make some shade. The campsite is kept very clean and the bathrooms were very clean as well. We had a spit right next too the bathroom, convenient but a lot of foot traffic by our tent. I would advise not picking a campsite near the bathroom as the bathrooms and shower houses are all within a short walking distance to any campsite. Also, I will say that if you have a large tent, like ours that sleeps 6-8, your tent may not fit on the tent pad, and they have pretty strict rules against setting up in the grass. If you have multiple parties trying to share a campground you will not fit with more than one large tent or more than two of those little igloo-looking pop-up tents. I would highly suggest reserving campgrounds next to each other. We enjoyed the water, next time we will bring more water toys. Most campsites have a beautiful view of the lake. There were lots of mountain flowers as well. Beautiful cozy little campground.
