We chose Stillwater specifically because they said they still had the water on since it was getting close to the end of the season, October 14. When we got there we saw a notice that there was no water. They did offer a 25% refund if you applied for it. The weather was beautiful so there were many campers there. I saw at least 3 bath houses, which would have been great if they were open. There was only 1 port o potty that we saw for all those people. It was so full there was not even room to sit. They could have at least had 1 for each bath house. It was so disgusting. We booked for two nights, but left first thing in the morning after the first night. So disappointed. We did have neighbors that said they live 2 hours away and have been there before when it was very nice. We felt they could have done a much better job to cover their water emergency.

The campground has lege sites that are separated enough so you don’t feel like it is a crowded “KOA” campground. The views of the lake and surrounding mountains is spectacular!
Pet friendly and plenty of places to hike around.
Fishing from shore is difficult since the water is pretty shallow for a lone way out from shore due to the topo of the land.
Definitely will came there again.

Beautiful views from the campsite. The spaces are close together but we still felt we had plenty of room. The facilities were clean. The only downside to this campground is that it is located off of a very busy road so you can hear cars driving by at all hours.
