Heaton Bay Campground is highly praised for its friendly hosts, clean facilities, and beautiful surroundings, making it a great spot for camping, hiking, and biking. While some visitors noted the low water levels and lack of a dump station as drawbacks, the campground's well-maintained sites and proximity to Dillon and Frisco for shopping and dining were appreciated. Location, location, location! Very well kept, clean and well managed. The only negative, and it is a big one, NO DUMP STATION!

The camp site is very spacious with trees that provided some quite and privacy. The restroom is very clean. We will stay here again next summer for the Bravo Vail Summer Concerts.

We had a great site, the bathrooms are the cleanest we have seen. The sites were nice trees or shrubs. We plan on going 2020 also

I did not actually stay at Heaton Bay because I could not get all the consecutive days I need for my stay in the Silverthorne area: however, I did drive through there to see what it was like and visited with the camp attendant. It is a very nice area with spectacular views. The camp attendant was also very helpful and informative,

Very nice campground, hosts were helpful and accommodating, close to bike path and near shopping and activities.
This campground is one of our favorites for sure and have stayed there many times over the years. We’ll stay again this coming season.
