We had the misfortune to be stranded there for a few extra days while our tow vehicle was being repaired The camp hosts were all so helpful and kind, especially Kurt. They went above and beyond and we really appreciated it. Loved the campsite area..clean and well maintained. Also, a good central location. An added bonus, the area was FULL of assorted wild flowers!

Well Curt us just the best host—we had a nice chat about everything and we had a lot in common. Does great job keeping restrooms clean, sanitary, no bad smell. The absolute right kind of personality for hosting a NF campground—real nice guy!

Lowrey is lovely! The camp host, Kurt, is delightful. We stayed in site
24. I highly recommend. The water on site was not the best.
We go back this week. This time to site 6.

The pull though site (#7) was very uneven; there was no way to park our RV so that it was level, even with our leveling jacks. Being a bit new, we didn't realize that the sites are electric only, and no water, so be aware of that. Overall, the site is unlovely; small trees and boulders throughout.

We did enjoy the campground; the toilets were very clean; potable water was close to all sites; the young pine trees did offer some privacy between some of the sites. We are planning to stay at the campground again in the future!

Campsite was clean. Bear proof food storage was very helpful in that we did not have to kept moving the food between the car and the picnic table. Campsites we’re closer to each other than preferred. No shade trees due to beetle kill.

In the case of motorcycles, the first two are considered as one vehicle for determining additional vehicle fees. The third and fourth motorcycle would also be considered as one vehicle.
