Camp ground clean and well maintained. The gravel pad was racked upon arrival which helped in leveling. Could use more gravel and blading for more even level.

Good location, with one bear locker for each campsite, fire rings, and the vault toilets were clean. However, there was no water and our walk-in tent campsite lacked a flat area for sleeping.

This was our first visit to Lowry Campground. Our site 19 was beautiful. The camp host was very accommodating.

When I first started going to this campground, I could fill my water tank onsite, then they changed the adapter so you could only fill jugs, now they have them completely taped off. luckily I a little water with me until I could get water in Frisco. The bathrooms aren't as clean as they used to be, but not horrible. I also wish there would be a notification that Swan Mountain Rd to Frisco is closed. Super annoying when I picked this location due to proximity to Breckenridge. Overall still a nice little campground. I wouldn't say it's great anymore.

There was no water in the campground and Swan Mt Rd was closed making it necessary for us to drive all around the reservoir to get water.
The caretakers/managers of the campground only did minimal cleaning of the vault toilets. The floor was not washed in the 6 days we were there. It ran out of toilet paper and for a day we had paper towels. The only time we saw the campground host was standing around at their campsite eating and socializing with other "caretaker/managers". This was our 5th visit. The first 2 were great, the last 3 have been progressively more disappointing. We will likely not be back.

From I-70, take exit 205. Travel east on Highway 6 towards Keystone,
Colorado, for approximately 3 miles. Turn right on Swan Mountain Road and
proceed 1.5 miles to the Lowry Campground sign. Turn left and proceed
a half mile to the campground.
Lowry Campground is accessible from I-70 via exit 205, approximately 3 miles east on Highway 6, which leads towards Keystone, Colorado.
Elevation: 2819 feet

General
- Please Note: One RV with tow per single site or one vehicle per tent site. Most sites can accommodate 1 extra vehicle that is not included with the reservation fee. Extra vehicle will be charged a per night fee and collected at the campground.
- Body contact with Dillon Reservoir prohibited, including swimming, water skiing, jetskiing and scuba diving
- All food, beverages, trash and scented items must be properly stored when not attended. Bear-proof food lockers are provided at each site and bear-proof trash receptacles are provided at the campground.
- Prevent the spread of invasive species by inspecting and cleaning packs, equipment, and tires before using lake or trails
- In accordance with standard industry practices, there will be an additional vehicle fee per day on the second vehicle in each single family campsite, and on the third and fourth vehicles in any double family campsite, provided these vehicles are not joined to the first vehicle by a hitch and towed onto the site. In the case of motorcycles, the first two are considered as one vehicle for determining additional vehicle fees. The third and fourth motorcycle would also be considered as one vehicle. No additional vehicle fees are collected for bicycles.
- Reserved Sites will be held until the day following your arrival date. Sites must be occupied by the checkout time of that following day to hold a reservation or the site will be forfeited and released to other guests.Once your reservation start date has begun, neither the Recreation.gov Contact Center nor the campground manager will be able to modify your reservation.
- Fire Restrictions: Fire restrictions may be imposed at any time due to hot, dry weather conditions, at which time campfires and charcoal fires may not be allowed.
- Don't Move Firewood: Prevent the spread of tree-killing organisms by obtaining firewood at or near your destination and burning it on-site. For more information visit dontmovefirewood.org.
- Any accepted senior passes must be entered for the discount at the time of booking for single sites only.

- Campers must occupy the site the first night at a campsite. This prevents booking the site for Fri-Sun and showing up on Saturday.
- Campers may leave the site for 24 hours and must occupy the site otherwise. This allows a camper to say go for an overnight backpack trip in the woods for one night and come back to their campsite the next day.
- It is imperative that you are clear from the site on your check out day so the host can come prepare the site for the next event. Please don't be the group that makes the incoming group have to wait.
