What Guests Are Saying
Lowry Campground is praised for its beautiful views, cleanliness of facilities, and convenient location near towns like Breckenridge and Frisco, making it ideal for outdoor activities. Many reviewers appreciated the friendly camp hosts and the well-maintained environment. However, some noted issues with close campsite proximity, limited water access, and difficulties for larger trailers, suggesting a need for caution when booking certain sites.

Not able to use water in camper tank. No shower facilities or flushing toilet. No dump station. Overall, the campground gave the appearance of a junk yard.

This is the second time I have stayed at this campsite. It is great because it has electrical hook ups. The sites are close together, and there are no trees. It is close to Breckenridge, close to the bike path, close to Frisco.

A great jumping off location for Breckinridge, Silverthorne, Dillon area of White River National Forest. Lots of trails for hiking and biking and for short walks to incredible views-sometimes a challenge to find so do your homework before you arrive! Very small quiet campground which encourages campers to share information about area attractions.

We have stayed for 2 week in the same camping spot for 3 years in a row. This year wasn't quite up to par with the past two.
The camp grounds as a whole wasn't as clean..
The camp host was polite, but had less attention to detail compared with the previous host.
I was told the restrooms were just a hole in the ground!
The last host kept them spotless!!!
When you change management company for a lesser bid, you get what you pay for. Sad to ay.

the water is bad here so they have turned it off and you can't put any in your rig. The little we got into water bottles was brown. The dump station 6 miles away with a little trickle of water and dump facilities has a long line. There were extra cars and people in the campground, the host was not doing his job. I would not recommend this place, try Heaton Bay instead which is close by.

Great campground with excellent views. The host was extremely helpful when we broke off a key in the lock. 5 star in my book.

Nice to have electric, but many of the spots would have been on top of one another if you had an RV/camper.
Our spot was fine, but picnic table was falling apart and neighboring campsites electric didn’t work so they shared with us.
While campsite and ground were just fine, great hike up Windy Point across the road and easy access to both Dillon and Frisco.

Site 011 is not a good site for a trailer. Not level and only room for a 20 foot trailer, no room to park vehicle. Power poles for campground come into this site. Access to fire pit and picnic table are up a rocky incline and 50 feet from trailer.

Campers must occupy the site the first night at a campsite. This prevents booking the site for Fri-Sun and showing up on Saturday. |

Campers may leave the site for 24 hours and must occupy the site otherwise. This allows a camper to say go for an overnight backpack trip in the woods for one night and come back to their campsite the next day. |
