What Guests Are Saying
Peak One Campground boasts a fantastic location near trails, towns, and Lake Dillon, making it ideal for outdoor activities. The campground is clean, well-maintained, and offers good privacy between sites. However, there are ongoing issues with restroom facilities, as vault toilets remain closed and only porta-potties are available, which some guests found less than satisfactory.

The campground was pretty nice but backing into the space was a little bit of a challenge. I also think the campground will be much nicer in a few years when the trees get a little bigger and can provide some shade.

Beautiful campsite. The restroom was minimalistic—minimal light during the day, no paper towels or hand soap, water would not stay on. The camp hosts were very kind and helpful (a couple from Georgia). We appreciated that they told us about nearby showers at the Breckinridge Rec Center.

The reservoir was low but still beautiful. It's a short drive to Breckenridge to enjoy the town and see the Troll. If you have forgotten anything for your trip, Walmart is a short drive away.

Great site. Everything clean, close to towns. Bring shade for site 38; there are some trees back there to get shade, but not around the grill, fire pit, tent site, parking, or table. Nice big site with a big backyard though.

It was Great, as always! We stay at this campground a lot. Very well maintained and clean. The campsites are spread out - not one on top of the other like some campgrounds. Had an issue with the bathroom in our loop one evening. They had to close it, but it was fixed the next day. The Camp Host were Awesome! We were a little disappointed that the Lake was rather low, but that couldn’t be helped and not the Campground’s fault.

Campers may leave the site for 24 hours and must occupy the site otherwise. This allows a camper to say go for an overnight backpack trip in the woods for one night and come back to their campsite the next day. |
